Kia ora, I’m Liv - a freelance web designer and Webflow developer based in Napier, Aotearoa / New Zealand.
I've been designing and building websites ever since I first learnt to slice them up in photoshop the 'old school way' at college (UCOL) in 2002.
Over the years when looking for content management systems and website builders, I tried a handful of platforms; Modx, Couch CMS, Joomla, Pinegrow, Macaw, Wordpress. None of them quite hit the mark when it came to a user-friendly, flexible system that my clients could easily use.
Then in 2013, I found Webflow. Finally I was able to quickly build unique looking websites in a more visual manner, and have confidence that my clients could edit their websites easily with no complicated backends they couldn't figure out.
Webflow has been a game-changer in my web design process. Now as a freelance web designer I utilise my (15+ yrs) design and marketing studio background and experience to craft unique, high quality, well-designed responsive websites that my clients love.
I can help out with any stage of the web development process – create your website from scratch, build a ready-to-go design, or migrate your current website to Webflow.
Benefit from my years of specialist experience and knowledge of Webflow, and the advantage of having a designer and developer in one.
Webflow's secure, user-friendly and flexible system enables you to update your website without worrying about your website breaking.
I'll ensure the messages on your website are clear and relevant, not watered down by template restrictions.
Using beautiful typography, colour combinations and images in a cohesive design, your website will represent and uplift your brand.
I'll design with your users in mind and build it to look good and perform well on any device, from desktop computers to mobile phones.
I freelance from Napier, Te Matau-a-Māui / Hawke’s Bay, and mostly work with clients locally, throughout Aotearoa (NZ) and Australia.
A website design and build usually takes between 4-6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project. I've outlined the major steps we'll go through in building your website, so you know what to expect, and when to expect it.
Once you’ve submitted my project form we’ll arrange a time get together to discuss your business goals and target audience.
Using these goals as a base, I’ll audit your current website to get a good picture of where you’ve come from, and where you need to go.
I’ll then provide you with a fixed-price proposal to achieve this, and provide a project timeline so you know what to expect, and when, with no surprises.
I’ll design your new site based on the architecture and goals we’ve defined using beautiful typography, colour combinations and images in a cohesive and seamless design to represent and uplift your brand.
Once you’ve approved the designs, I’ll bring them to life in Webflow, adding simple interactions that compliment the design. I’ll build the CMS if required, and add any integrations. Once ready, I’ll send you a test link to view.
Once you’ve approved your test link, I’ll launch your new site! Once live, you can edit the site yourself if you chose CMS, or ask me to add and pages and integrations later as needed, when your business develops.

Because each project is unique, pricing varies and are estimated individually. However to give you an idea, a medium-sized non-ecommerce website (up to 8 pages) generally involves an investment price around $5k (give or take depending on specific requirements). Ongoing projects and website updates are invoiced at my hourly rate at the end of the month.
As a general rule, no. I work with trusted photographers and copywriters and can contact them on your behalf to provide costs for these additional services.
If you're wanting to move your site across from another platform (such as Wordpress) but you're happy with the design, that's no problem - just let me know on my project form and I can provide you with a quote to do this.
Yes, just let me know in the comments on my project form so I can factor that into your quote.
